Mary Marvier story on Alcatraz


She talks about her family moved from Pennsylvania so her father, James Comerford, could take a corrections officer’s job on the island.


She would live there the next 12 years until the family moved off Alcatraz in 1954. She also talks about living on the third floor of the C Building.
